 Software Uses:

How this Software can be integrated into the classroom or support learning outside the classroom.   Reader Rabbit's math and reading software programs c be used by both teachers and parents, in the classroom, as well as in the home to support an individual's learning. Teachers can give each student an assigned time during the week that they get to practice their reading skills on the computer. In classroom centers, Reader Rabbit would be a great activity to set up at the computer center. It is beneficial to teachers because the level or material being covered in both Reader Rabbit's math and reading software offer different levels and subject material which is very useful in a classroom of diverse learners. This program could be used to help students review and practice the skills they are taught in a more interactive way than worksheets and handouts and the student would receive feedback as well as the teacher in each individual's progress. If a student is struggling and needs extra help in an area this program would be great to help those students, both in the classroom, and at home with their parents' support. To keep math and reading skills sharp through the summer or to get ahead for the following year, Reader Rabbit is  great software program for parents to buy, especially for rainy days in the summer. The graphics and level of interaction make this series seem more like a video game, than a computer learner tool and will capture the interest of children at various early childhood ages.
